P-400 Long Block

Description

Thinking about doing an engine conversion? You might want to consider the P-400 first for the following reasons;

• Produces 250 hp & 550 ft/lb of torque stock (without any performance modifications) That is a 30% increase in HP and 22% increase in torque over the stock 6.5
• A full compliment of performance accessories such as Turbo, Intercooler, HO Injectors, PCM and Exhaust are available to increase the power to well over 300 hp and 675 ft/lb of torque.
• It virtually drops in place of the stock 6.5 TD; Only modification to the oil pan protector on the underbody protection is required.
• All components swap over from your 6.5 TD; The stock wiring harness, Injection Pump, Turbo, brackets and water pump can be used from your 6.5 TD
• All of the performance mods that you may have done over the years such as, Exhaust, Turbo, HO Injectors, Intercooler, Cool Kit or Performance PCM swap over from your 6.5 TD
• Costs less than 1/3 the price of a conversion.

The P-400 is an extremely durable engine featuring;

• Ladder Framed Girdle Bottom End
• Forged Steel Crankshaft
• Hard Anodized Piston Tops and Skirts
• Crack Machined Rod Caps for tight tolerances and strength
• Rod Bolts instead of Studs
• Larger Cast Aluminum Oil Pan
