Simply the best Tire Carrier on the market! We’ve seen some Tire Carriers that are either flimsy and rattle around or they require tools to even open them to access the rear of the truck. This Tire Carrier was not only designed to stand up to off-road abuse but also ease of use with safety in mind.First off, it can be opened with a simple pull of the latch for quick access to the rear cargo area but it also has a safety pin to secure the latch. It also has provisions to become lockable preventing access to thieves.Secondly, the tire can be lowered to the ground with a simple twist of a spring loaded latch or you can drop it mid-way to give you a stopping point before lowering it all the way to the ground. There are also bolts with 7/8″ heads (the same as your Lug Nuts so no other tools are required for a tire change) that secure the swing arm to both prevent any rattling and safety.Lastly, it can accommodate up to a 44″ Tire and has tapped holes in the center hub so you can easily attach one of our Rock Rims™ to protect your spare.Fits 92-06 Trucks with factory HD Bumper.
